About the Role


We're looking for an entry-level Onsite Desktop Support Engineer to provide hands-on IT support at two recently acquired automotive dealerships in Prescott, AZ. This is a great opportunity to build foundational experience in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. The role starts as a six-month contract, with the potential to transition to a full-time position based on performance.
What You'll Do

• Deliver daily onsite technical support across dealership locations
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues (e.g., desktops, laptops, printers)
  
• Set up and image new devices for incoming users
  
• Monitor and respond to IT support tickets in a timely, professional manner
  
• Work with senior remote engineers to resolve complex issues
  
• Keep detailed documentation of support activities and resolutions
  
• Ensure all IT equipment is secure, functional, and up to date
  

What We're Looking For

• Basic knowledge of desktop support, Windows OS, and hardware troubleshooting
  
• Familiarity with imaging tools and IT ticketing systems (a plus, not required)
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and a high level of attention to detail
  
• Clear communication and a customer-first mindset
  
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a technology-driven environment
  

Bonus Points

• Previous experience in a helpdesk or desktop support role (internships or school projects welcome)
  
• CompTIA A+ or similar certification is a plus
