About the Role
As a Software Engineer on a contingent assignment, you'll contribute to initiatives that range from low to moderately complex, helping to improve engineering processes and deliver high-quality solutions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze technical challenges, and support the development of scalable software systems. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to grow their technical skills while making meaningful contributions to engineering projects.


Responsibilities

• Support software engineering projects by analyzing requirements, identifying process improvement opportunities, and implementing solutions.


• Evaluate and troubleshoot technical challenges related to low-to-medium risk deliverables.


• Present recommendations and insights to stakeholders, exercising sound judgment and analytical thinking.


• Develop a working knowledge of engineering functions, policies, and compliance standards.


• Communicate effectively with internal teams and client personnel to ensure alignment and progress.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in software engineering or a related technical field.


• Equivalent experience may include a combination of professional work, consulting, military service, or academic training.


• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on defined tasks.


• Familiarity with software development methodologies and tools.
