What you will do:
  • Under immediate supervision, conducts outpatient clinical assessments to evaluate the psychological, substance use, social, occupational, educational, and domestic needs of assigned clients, develops treatment plans, and provides treatment interventions.
  • Provides clinical case management services to program participants; selects and uses appropriate treatment modality in outpatient setting.
  • Provides all services utilizing a strengths-based, family-focused, and integrated approach.
  • Demonstrates commitment to diversity, cultural relevancy, and inclusion.
  • Provides counseling and related services to youth and families as assigned.
  • Participates in creating and maintaining a workplace that values diversity and treats everyone with respect without regard to race, color, age, religion, creed, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, marital status, the presence of any sensory, mental, or physical disability.
  • Demonstrates teamwork and open communication.
  • Provides services in a manner that expedites the meeting of contract requirements and program outcomes.
  • Maintains documentation in a timely, thorough, and accurate manner.

  • Perform other appropriate tasks related to your professional role as needed.

To be considered you should:
  1. Must have a qualifying master's degree to meet the requirement for registration as an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW), Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) or Associate Professional Clinical Counselor) APCC with the Board of Behavioral Sciences
  2. Must be registered and maintain active registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW), an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) or an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) and able to perform the supervised clinical experience hours required for licensure as an LCSW, LMFT or LPCC.
  3. Must provide own Professional Liability Insurance
  4. Ability to pass a criminal background clearance check, drug screen, physical and TB Test.
  5. Ability to prepare written reports and correspondence.
  6. Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
  7. Proficient in the use of computers and associated software
  8. Availability to meet with direct clinical supervisor once a week.
