Hybrid in Westminster, CO

Looking for Sr. PMs with Infrastructure background, Manufacturing background, and or PMs with Merger and Acquisitions experience.

  • This project manager will work with IT portfolio owners to successfully manage the delivery of multiple IT capital projects using standard project management methodologies. They will possess the skills and experience to lead and manage a team of technical resources while simultaneously partnering with other IT and business teams as well as vendors. PMP certification is strongly preferred as is the ability to create and review for accuracy and adequacy vendor request for proposals (RFP) is a plus for projects that require network cabling.
  • The project manager will manage the entire project lifecycle from initial inception through design, delivery (including procurement of hardware and services), and deploying functionality to production.
    • Project Planning, Tracking, Control & Reporting
      • Validation of business requirements
      • Determine hardware, services, and labor costs to execute the project
      • Create baseline project schedule and delivery resource plan (and update continually throughout project lifecycle)
      • Track the completion of project deliverables, tasks, activities and milestones.
      • Ensure project scope and budget are managed closely and escalations are raised and routed accordingly.
      • Active management of project risks, assumptions, issues and decisions (RAID), carefully assessing potential impacts in collaboration with the respective project teams and proposing appropriate mitigation actions
      • Compliance - Directly accountable for ensuring compliance with project management guidelines, process tools, and reporting standards of the portfolio
Activities to be performed:
  • Create project plans based on requirements, timelines, dependencies, financial factors and resources and ensure on-time, on budget, on scope execution.
  • Understand the roles and responsibilities of personnel within the escalation process and the specific responsibilities in facilitating that process.
  • Provide project oversight and quality reviews, coordination of deliverable sign-off, and project reporting.
  • Effectively communicate expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Manage the change process and determine the impact of changes on the business case, and re-forecast value creation.
  • Ability to communicate across business and IT stakeholders, especially when changes need to be communicated
  • Juggle multiple initiatives and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Build and maintain an in depth knowledge of the processes, systems, and data in a defined capability/service delivery area.
  • Evaluate and select external vendors, analyze proposals, and manage relationships to ensure the provision of quality products and services.
  • Create and maintain accurate documentation for projects, including system configurations, blue prints, inventory, and network diagrams, and generate regular status reports for management.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Project Management training/education is a must.
  • Proven experience (7+ years) in IT infrastructure project management.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively wrap a team and drive results.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Knowledge of IT best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in vendor management, proposal analysis, and service-level agreements.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP) are highly desirable.
