Job Description:

The Marketing & Events Manager is a creative content developer and a planner who appreciates attention to fine detail. Under the general direction of the Chief Strategy Officer, the Marketing & Events Manager is responsible for internal and external marketing of hospital service lines, collateral material, website content and social media. The Manager supports strategic initiatives throughout the organization and ensures all marketing efforts align with the hospital's strategic priorities to raise awareness, strengthen reputation and support growth. The Manager leads event planning and execution, including community and employee events along with support for philanthropy events.

Job Responsibilities

1. Creates and produces high quality content for external and internal marketing communications including e-mail, direct mail, marketing collateral (brochures, flyers, posters, etc.), website and social media content directed towards multiple audiences.

2. Creates content using photography, videography, graphics, interview and written skills to translate the work of Huggins Hospital into public and internal marketing. Manages the creation and distribution of the Huggins Happenings Employee Newsletter and the Healthy Horizons community magazine, along with the Chief Strategy Officer.

3. Provides day-to-day oversight of social media activities with support from other teammates.

4. Develops annual marketing plan and executes marketing campaigns with the support of marketing vendors.

5. Assists with visual representation/artwork projects and oversees compliance and development of signage, postings and wayfinding throughout Huggins Hospital facilities.

6. Leads all event planning for community and employee events, including Hospital Week activities, annual Employee Recognition Banquet, community health fairs, parades, etc. The Manager will also support events through the Philanthropy Department.

Huggins Hospital is looking for a strong, detail-oriented professional to join a high performing Strategy Team that includes specialists in Community Relations, Patient Experience, Communications, Community Health, Quality and Philanthropy. Education: Bachelor's Degree required (degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or Healthcare Administration preferred) and Master's Degree preferred

Experience: Minimum 5 years of related work experience creating marketing content, designing and writing marketing material, managing social media and event planning. Photography and graphic design experience (Adobe Creative Suite) preferred. Healthcare experience preferred.

Skills: The Marketing & Events Manager position requires exceptional attention to detail and quality. The position requires checking and correcting one's own work, demonstrating excellent judgement and strong interpersonal and communication skills, including superior writing and editing.

Hours: M - F days; 8 AM - 4:30 PM with options for remote work and flexible schedule; occasional need to work evenings and/or weekends for special events
