Position Summary
Thales requires a DevOps Engineer to develop, deploy and support / operate the platform based on Cloud Technologies such as Openstack, Kubernetes, Cassandra, Elasticsearch. As a DevOps Engineer, you will possess and demonstrate the ability to solve complex technical issues (Investigation of issues will require understanding of the whole solution including different systems and technologies, the candidate will need to correlate the information from logs and metrics provided by the different elements of the solution. It also includes Security aspects like encryption, keys and APDU management) for platforms running on multiple technologies and software systems. As a DevOps Engineer you should also have extensive understanding of pipeline definition and automation for building, validating and deploying the platform to be able to work on a DevOps / CICD mode with our internal teams and customers. A strong knowledge and experience on Elasticsearch is also required to handle the logging management and support for the customer, provide improvement and upgrades for future deployment and current Production support.

Special Position Requirements
As a DevOps Engineer you will need to be able to multitask and quickly switch if need be to emergency situations on production platforms. In addition, the position requires the ability to be able to manage tight deadlines and have visibility on project delivery goals and the ability to communicate effectively to project teams and management. In this role you will be required to be available to work during nights and weekends when the situation requires it.
