Job Description:

Ferguson, North America’s leading value-added distributor, is seeking a Counter Sales Representative. The company serves residential, non-residential, new construction, and repair markets, offering a vast portfolio of products and expertise. The role involves advising customers on product selection, processing orders, operating cash registers, and maintaining store appearance.

Responsibilities:

• Advise customers on product selection
• Process orders via order management system
• Operate cash registers and adhere to cash handling procedures
• Prepare and stage orders for customer pick-up
• Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards
• Restock merchandise and organize inventory
• Ensure a safe working environment, including PPE compliance

Schedule: Monday - Friday Monday - Friday 8am-5pm

Pay: starting at $19 per hour or higher depending on experience

Qualifications:

• 0-3 years of experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of HVAC or plumbing products preferred
• General computer skills, including Microsoft Office proficiency
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise
• Basic math skills for cash accounting
• Strong learning ability
• Excellent decision-making and communication skills
