Location: Johns Creek, GA

Salary: $18.00 USD Hourly - $34.00 USD Hourly

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Remote HCC Auditor LEAD!



Job Overview:

Auditor specialist will be responsible for performing QA on a specific project or for a particular client. QA will be performed randomly but with a certain percentage assigned to projects. QA projects may also be assigned to the QA Auditor as needed and random QA may be required



This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Audit coded charts assigned by quality supervisor per the client guidelines


• Ability to move from different sets of client guidelines with minimal difficulty


• Maintain a 95% quality average at a diagnosis level


• Answer rebuttals entered on the auditor by coders and or auditors


• Participate in weekly coding project review meetings


• Any other tasks asked by quality project manager

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.


• AHIMA certified credentials (RHIA, RHIT, CCS) or AAPC certified credentials (CPC, CPC-H, COC, CIC or CRC)


• 2 years coding experience


• Extensive knowledge of ICD -9/10


• Familiar with HCC coding


• A strong knowledge base of medical terminology, medical abbreviations, pharmacology, and disease processes


• Working knowledge of the business use of computer hardware and software to ensure effectiveness and quality of the processing and security of the data


• Must be able to commit to the following FT minimum of 40 hours weekly
