Vertiv has a transformational opportunity for a Continuous Improvement Project Manager to join our Vertiv Operating System (VOS) team in Westerville, OH. Under the direction of Global Vice President of VOS, this individual contributor will:
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assume a leadership role in planning, executing, and closing improvement projects within the Vertiv Operating System (VOS) department, collaborating with various leaders to achieve project goals.
Work closely with leaders from different departments, including End-to-end Transactional Process Improvement, Functional Excellence, Internal Governance, to understand project requirements and ensure successful project delivery.
Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining scope, timelines, resource requirements, and deliverables. Execute projects according to established plans, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Facilitate communication between project teams and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, addressing concerns, and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues to prevent delays or roadblocks. Implement contingency plans as needed to ensure successful project outcomes.
Collaborate with department leaders to allocate and manage resources effectively, ensuring that project teams have the necessary support to meet project objectives.
Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for each project, providing regular reports to department leaders on project status, milestones achieved, and areas requiring attention.
Support leaders in change management efforts associated with improvement projects, assisting in the communication and adoption of new processes or frameworks.
Encourage a culture of continuous improvement within project teams, seeking feedback, and implementing lessons learned to enhance project management processes.
Collaborate with leaders from various departments to understand project requirements and ensure successful project delivery.
