The Senior Finance Controlling Specialist will play a key role as a crucial driving force within the dynamic NAM (North America) Performance Controlling team of Siemens Healthineers NAM zone. Reporting directly to the Director Finance - Performance Controlling, this position will be a subject matter expert, adept in every aspect of the group's functions, spanning finance partnership, performance controlling, KPI analysis, forecasting, and ad hoc projects. Moreover, this individual will actively seize opportunities to spearhead pivotal business initiatives, lead finance projects, and provide direct support to Executive Management, making their contribution indispensable to the organization's success.
Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities include the following:
As a trusted partner to Head of Customer Finance, provide expertise, advise, business administration and controlling services over the Field Sales organization and Customer Finance organization
Manage the financial close, cost center rolling forecast and budget planning processes for the Field Sales and Customer Finance organization.
Collaborate with Commission and GPO Administration groups, ensure accurate expense booking, reporting and forecasting of internal commissions & third-party sales fees
Develop cost allocation methodology and ensure transparency, analysis and effective communication to internal stakeholders on allocated cost, SG&A, COGS and headcount
Create new and improve existing financial models and forecast methodology
Suggest and implement meaningful KPIs to enable decision making
Support on corporate initiatives, evaluate and drive implementation of digitalization opportunities
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
Advanced know-how and experience in cost center budgeting/forecasting, monthly close activities, and various types of financial analysis (preferably 6-8 years of relevant experience)
Valued and recognized expert in above mentioned fields and internally trusted advisor to functional or line management
Excellent professional judgment and problem solving competence
Advanced communication skills to clearly present key issues and recommended actions
High proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint / think-cell and SAP
Experience with business intelligence tools, data analysis and visualization, automation and digitalization are a plus (Excel macros, KNIME, UIPath, PowerBI, etc.)
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration or related area
Minimal travel (10%) may be required
