View Point Healths GRAN Recovery Center is a 28-day Intensive Residential Addiction treatment program. With an emphasis on maintaining a positive therapeutic community, treatment interventions focus on promoting abstinence from substance use, shifting from addictive behaviors and effecting change in the individuals lifestyle, attitudes, and values. We are looking for a Clinical Team Lead to join our multi-disciplinary team to lead a team of professional staff (Clinicians, Counselors and Peer Coaches) providing Intensive Residential SUD Treatment services.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Provides day-to-day oversight, clinical leadership, and supervision to direct reports, including service plan and documentation reviews for conformity to agency and payer requirements.Responsible for supporting and collaborating with Program Manager to educate, train and develop team members in providing high quality SUD services and meet VPH performance expectations.Attends and leads Treatment Team meetings to review caseloads and manage care coordination as well as provides suggestions and support of Clinical Interventions (Behavior Contracts, challenging case management needs, etc.)Participates in the hiring of staff; provides supervision to direct reports; completes performance assessments and coaches staff with performance improvement.Ensure QA standards are met. Manages a caseload of clients during their course of treatment.Provides therapeutic services to clients including some individual & group counseling and care coordination services.Collaborates with the client in preparing an initial individual service plan (Treatment Plan) that utilizes assessment data, diagnostic formulations, identified strengths, needs, preferences and resources to develop appropriate goals and objectives. Conducts face-to-face comprehensive assessment to identify problems and service needs and develop individualized service/treatment plans.Writes service plans that are clear, concise, complete, grammatically correct, timely, and properly coded. Completes and submits initial request for treatment authorization from Medicaid, State contracts, insurers or other payers according to requirements. Provides initial program orientation, individualssubstance use disordersAssesses individuals treatment needs and assists him/her to develop self-directed individual treatment goals.Meets with individuals at established intervals to discuss progress toward goals. If licensure allows, then provides clinical supervision to team clinicians and provides therapeutic services to clients.Adheres to agency standards with clinical documents and ensures team is following standards as well as checking carelogic alerts.Assists Program Manager in managing failed claims and activities to ensure collection of claims; coach and train staff on maximizing revenue.Participates in administrator On-Call rotation. Team Lead will be on-call at least one week per month via phone; provide afterhours support to team for clinical input related to discharge/admission or milieu question.Develops and maintains cooperative working relationships with community service providers. Informs clients and families of the availability of community advocacy and support groups.With a focus on group dynamics and building a therapeutic milieu, counselor provides group, family, and individual counseling, psychoeducation, skills-based training, and case management to individuals and their families/significant others. Designs counseling/education services that meet the individual needs of individuals served. Educates families/significant others on the addiction and recovery process and facilitates family support sessions as needed. Provides assistance and problem resolution to clients, staff and internal & external partners, and other agencies.Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in a related area from an accredited college or university AND licensure in the area of assignment AND Two years of related post-license experience OR masters degree in a related area from an accredited college or university AND licensure in the area of assignment AND Two years of experience at the lower-level Social Worker, Licensed 2 (HCP051) or position equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Carelogic or other EHR/EMR Previous experience working with SUD and/or co-occurring disorders.

Requirements/Competencies:
Must be able to lift 20 pounds.Requires long periods of sitting/standing.Must have valid Georgia drivers license and Motor Vehicle Record in accordance with company policy.Candidates for selection must pass a criminal background check (including fingerprinting)Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and subject to random drug screens.Any combination of training and experience, which would have enabled the applicant to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities Note: Some positions may require a valid driver's license.
