SUMMARY
As an Accounts Receivable Clerk at SFG you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of receivables. You will be responsible for managing customer accounts, processing invoices, and reconciling payments, among other duties. This role is responsible for performing a variety of accounts receivable tasks that utilize various systems and tools to post deposits, prepare billings, and distribute to customers accurately and effectively. To be successful in this role, you will ensure that your processes are performed timely, efficiently and with accuracy.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Process large volume of daily cash receipts to ERP using automated processes and systems
Process daily billings to systems using automated processes and systems
Reconcile and match deposits accurately and timely
Reconcile and distribute billings in systems accurately and timely
Provide support and assistance to internal customers regarding customer accounts
Assist with resolving AR discrepancies with internal customers
Assist with month-end financial close process
Provide excellent customer service to internal/external customers by meeting or exceeding SLA requirements
Ensure compliance with internal SOX controls
Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
1-4 years of experience as an Accounts Receivable clerk or a similar role
Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
Strong critical thinking skills to resolve issues and improve processes
Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Ability to handle high volume work in a deadline driven environment
Excellent customer service skills

Physical Requirements:
Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including telephone, copier, computer terminal and keyboard, facsimile, calculator, and understands computer basics. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management.
