Job Description:

If you are a detail oriented person who enjoys investigating complex problems and driving to determine and implement appropriate solutions, consider a Quality Engineer position at SV Microwave.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with QA team members, and across departments as needed, to troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis on product failures and field returns using both experimental and analytical methods.
  • Identify and disposition appropriate corrective and preventative actions, and follow them through the validation process.
  • Produce reports as needed to analyze and address trends in company objectives and KPIs.
  • Coordinate and control the company response to customer complaints, and grow relationships with customers through collaborative efforts.
  • Provide technical support both internally and externally, to customers, receiving inspection, final inspection, and manufacturing.
  • Ensure that products and processes adhere to company quality policy and guidelines.
  • Develop and implement new SOPs, WIs, and company standards as needed to ensure successful implementation of the company's QMS.
  • Support the company's internal audit system and external third party audits, including AS9100, and customer on-site surveys.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or Bachelor's or Associate's degree with work experience in a related field.
  • Excellent problem-definition, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and comfortable presenting to groups.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office with the ability to quickly learn other database programs.
  • Proficient in English and able to compose written documents for dissemination to upper management, suppliers and customers.

Preferred
  • Experience with ISO 9000/AS9100 requirements and auditing.
  • Experience with CAPA, RCCA, 8D
  • Experience with the electrical and mechanical aspects of RF coaxial connectors, components, and cable assemblies.
