Overview: Position provides technical support to quality engineering function and assists in developing quality procedures and practices. Assists in identifying root cause/corrective action and participates in Continuous Improvement/Kaizen activities.
Assists with inspector and operator training, teaching, and coaching. Conducts quality audits and documents results in audit database. Assists in maintaining gages and inspection equipment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
visual, dimensional, and functional testing & inspection.
be able to interpret and follow established quality procedures and documents.
interpret product drawings and tolerances.
various gages, calipers, and other measuring tools and equipment.
inspection results in database.
teaches, and trains inspectors and operators in established methods and procedures.
to develop work instructions.
IQC inspection and testing.
with Microsoft Excel, word, and Outlook.

Education and Experience:
BS degree preferred or relevant work experience
3-5 years of experience in the quality related field
