The Product Engineer position will focus on the air induction product portfolio within Omega. This would include the turbocharger line, along with all accessories and internal components. The position will lead product validation and analysis, as well as training material creation and assisting customers with technical questions. This position will report directly to the Vice President of Product Development.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for disassembly and inspection of both new and used turbochargers to provide findings on the internal conditions and opportunities for product improvement.
  • Handle written, verbal, and in person conversations with customers to receive feedback and provide constructive guidance on the current product offering.
  • Stay current with the air induction market needs and be able to provide feedback to various teams including marketing, product development, cataloging, and sales.
  • Help to review and develop specifications and requirements of the turbocharger offering that will be communicated and monitored with product vendors.
  • In coordination with other internal departments, this position will develop product training material and be able to present that material to both internal and external shareholders.

Requirements:
  • 4-years of job-related experience with turbochargers, including internal design knowledge and/or disassembly and assembly of complete turbochargers.
  • Must be comfortable working in a variety of conditions, including office work at a computer, on the phone with customers receiving technical questions, and in front of customers providing training or sales support.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time.
