The Senior Backend Engineer at Cardone Ventures will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical Azure relational database systems, to ensure the availability and consistent performance of our enterprise application. This role will also be instrumental in the design and maintenance of the web services and relational database tier that supports our productivity and collaboration platform for a thousand businesses and a quarter-of-a-million users. You will also implement, configure, maintain, and perform critical SQL Server systems, to ensure the availability and consistent performance of our enterprise applications. This is a "hands-on" position requiring solid technical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
This position will work side by side with the platform's original architect to learn the structure and logic behind the project and work to innovate and adapt new features into the platform as well as troubleshoot performance issues that arise as a result of growth of the platform.

OBJECTIVES
Construction and modification of tables and stored procedures to provide new and updated functionality to API calls
Installation, Administration and Maintenance of SQL Server Instances
Troubleshoot and optimize data and stored procedure logic with various problems that arise in the day-to-day operations and fix the issues
Monitoring and Performance Tuning; Physical Server Level, Database level (Database settings and options) and query tuning to include index optimizations
Database growth vs disk space available, audits, resource monitoring (I/O bottlenecks, memory pressure, CPU use)
From time to time recover the databases to a specific point of time, as per the requests
Write, update and maintain Restful API library designed to interface with the SQL stored procedures
COMPETENCIES
3-5 years of database experience and data architecture experience
Keen analysis and organizational skills
Attention to detail
Ability to solve problems creatively and efficiently
Ability to communicate effectively with other team members and users
Familiarity with tools related to data migration, data warehousing, data modeling, data integration, and database design is preferred
Experience with C# building middle ware applications
Excellent multitasking skills and task management strategies
Experience working with the databases in public Clouds, preferably Azure
IIS Management and deployment experience
Experience in Agile development methodology & Agile development tools
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
3-5 years of programming experience. Broad experience designing, programming, and implementing large information systems. Ability to provide in-depth evaluation and analysis of unique complex technological issues.
