Design Responsibilities
Develop firmware for board level and Industrial Internet of Things products
Create low-level requirements from high-level product specifications
Compact and efficient hardware and firmware design using mixed signal SoCs
Microcontroller analog circuit interface, peripheral interface, communications
Complete product line design including system level considerations
Design for test, EMC compliance, hazardous location operation
Product prototype, test, troubleshooting, and characterization
Work independently and in small teams as a primary development resource
Guide design of production automated test equipment
Education, Experience, Skills
B.S. in Electrical Engineering/Electrical & Computer Engineering, M.S. preferred
3+ years electronics hardware, 3+ years embedded firmware design experience
Proficient in C and C++, version control, code analysis tools, code optimization
Design experience with IoT, IIoT technologies, security, and protocols
Problem solving through creative thinking and collaboration
