As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to define and drive key functional requirements for embedded software and hardware teams from stakeholders across the organization. Developing product system requirements to support product and technology roadmaps will be at the core of your responsibilities. You will play a crucial part in defining data-gathering feedback loops, supporting functional teams to reduce software complexity, and identifying technologies for customer benefits through repetitive task automation. Your role will also involve leading process changes and utilizing ALM tools, fostering a culture of creativity, and supporting a diversity of thought and innovation.
Role & Responsibility
Define key functional requirements for embedded software and hardware teams from stakeholders across the organization
Identify areas to implement machine learning and AI technologies to provide customer benefits at the product level
Leverage simulation techniques to prove out solutions earlier in the development process
Develop product system strategies supporting roadmaps regarding advanced sensors
Define data gathering feedback loop
Support functional teams across the organization to reduce software complexity
Identify technologies to provide customer benefits in terms of repetitive task automation
Use innovative approaches to solve problems, engage teams, and devise courses of action for the development of new techniques or processes
Lead process changes and utilize ALM tools that meet the team needs through agile & Kanban methodologies
Foster a culture of creativity and support a diversity of thought, innovation, and excellence within the role
Job Requirement
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Computer, Software, or equivalent Engineering discipline
5+ years of experience
Strong oral and written communication skills
Understanding of Machine Learning Principles
J1939 CAN communication
Travel: < 10%
What We Look For:
Familiarity with embedded software development using C, C++, and model-based development (MATLAB/Simulink)
Challenge the status quo approach
Usage of Linux OS
Experience with Polarion or similar ALM tools
Knowledge of Robot Operating Systems (ROS)
