You'll be spearheading collaborations with various brands at Yahoo, overseeing a team of account managers and ad operations specialists. Your role entails achieving impactful outcomes, optimizing workflow efficiency, and nurturing top performers.

Role Overview:

As the Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing and guiding a team of account managers and ad operation specialists to ensure the successful execution of advertising campaigns and exceptional client satisfaction. Your role involves a blend of leadership, strategic planning, client relationship management, and operational oversight.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship to a team of account managers and ad operation specialists. Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment that encourages innovation, productivity, and professional growth. Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for skills development and training.

  • Client Relationship Management: Collaborate with account managers to develop strategic account plans, ensuring alignment with clients' business objectives and KPIs. Oversee the resolution of client inquiries, escalations, and requests in a timely and satisfactory manner.

  • Campaign Strategy and Optimization: Work closely with account managers and ad operations specialists to develop effective advertising strategies that drive client success and meet campaign objectives.vMonitor campaign performance metrics, analyze data, and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.vProvide strategic recommendations and guidance to optimize ad targeting, creative messaging, and budget allocation.

  • Operational Oversight: Ensure adherence to established operational processes and best practices for campaign setup, delivery, and reporting. Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., sales, creative, analytics) to streamline workflows and address operational challenges. Implement quality assurance measures to maintain high standards of campaign execution and delivery.

  • Performance Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular reports and performance insights for leadership, highlighting key metrics, trends, and campaign optimizations. Conduct post-campaign brand analysis to evaluate performance trends and identify areas for future improvement. Present findings and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.


You Must Have:

  • 5+ years in account management or related field, with a track record of success in driving business growth and client satisfaction.

  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve performance targets.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to identify opportunities, analyze data, and develop actionable insights and recommendations.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a proactive and results-driven approach to achieving goals.

  • Familiarity with Google Ad Manager


Nice to Have(s):

  • Technical background on client tag troubleshooting, creative asset management

  • Familiarity with how advertisers are buying media and the operational workflows to traffic and report on advertising campaigns

  • Familiarity with contextual and behavioral advertising trends and how the current landscape is evolving around audience data and privacy compliance

The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
