The purpose of the Order Specialist will be to answer incoming order calls daily, manage and process drop-ship customer orders in a timely and accurate manner, and help with customer service calls. Specific tasks include, but are not limited to:
Working in office to answer incoming customer calls
Process orders from incoming calls
Determine when a call is a large enough order that a Sales team member needs to be involved, and in such instances transfer to the appropriate team member.
Follow-up with all calls transferred to assure customer was taken care of
Daily monitoring and exporting of all drop-ship orders from multiple customer's back-end account management systems
Creating and updating customer orders by entering data into ScaffoldMart's order management system or other software application
Communicating with customer's to fix order issues
Obtaining freight quotes and finalizing cost for customer orders
Communicating to customer final freight cost and confirming credit card authorization
Updating tracking information and other order records as necessary per each account's requirements
Daily updating of inventory data for customer's website back-ends
Arranging shipments according to customer requirements, using a computer system to track inventory levels and ensure that orders are filled correctly
Communicating with other departments within the company to ensure that orders are processed in a timely manner
Regularly monitor all web presence of ScaffoldMart products listed on other websites to assure information is up to date
Data entry and updating associated with third party websites

Hourly Position
This position will be an hourly employee. The position will be 30-40 hours per week
Job Location
This position will be required to come into the office Monday - Friday during regular business hours (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM). This position does not include additional benefits.
