Purpose and Scope

This position exists to provide the analytical and project horsepower to identify and implement projects that will directly improve the performance and alignment of the purchasing department and our supply chains. This position will perform  analysis, planning, and assist implementation of focused and targeted  projects to improve supply chain performance. The Purchasing leadership team will determine the highest leverage projects to be attacked. This position will work as part of a coordinated, rigorous and structured CI program.


This role is responsible for providing the analytical   horsepower  to Purchasing and Supply Chain CI projects. Specifically to: - Provide high quality analysis of Purchasing and Supply Chain operations and problems to identify improvement opportunities. - Provide detailed analysis to identify solutions to problems in selected areas - improvements in and across purchasing and the supply chain.   Implement control systems to ensure that the implemented improvements are sustainable.

Technical/Functional skills

  • SAP material management system (PTP and FI) and project system modules

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Close loop process control

  • Global understanding of Supply Chain

  • Ability to function as a team member

  • Change management skills

  Minimum qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s  Degree in Business/Finance/Supply chain with at least  3-5 years’  experience with  Purchasing Analytics

  • Master’s in Business/Finance/Supply chain with at least 2 years’ experience with Purchasing Analytics

  • Knowledge  of  SAP/MRP,  Analytical tools
