Location: Shakopee, Minnesota
The Scott County Community Development Agency (SC-CDA) in Shakopee, MN, is accepting applications for a full-time Assistant Housing Director, working M-F, 8:00-4:30.
This is a responsible position, managing the day-to-day activities of the housing department including the rental assistance programs (Section 8, Bridges), project based programs (PBV, RD, rehab and maintenance), homeownership programs (pre-purchase counseling, foreclosure prevention), process reasonable accommodation requests, do case consultations, monitor utilization/occupancy of programs, budgeting, and ensure program compliance. Supervision of housing staff. Must have excellent client service skills. Work is performed under the general direction of the Housing Director.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree with coursework in housing, social work, or related field. 3-5 years experience in case management of state, federal or non-profit rental assistance programs and 3-5 years experience managing state, federal or non-profit rental assistance programs. Staff supervision experience. Driver's license with good driving record required. May substitute equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred requirements: Over 5 years of experience as listed above. Certifications (see job description). Position pay range $60,989.40 to $91,484.10 (exempt). Starting pay dependent on qualifications.
