The Client Relations Specialist (CRS) takes responsibility for managing the daily details necessary to execute and increase sales by supporting our clients in all aspects of the sales process. In addition to managing client orders, the CRS works hand-in-hand with Account Executives, Account Managers and the broader team, as appropriate, to identify proactive ways to improve client relations. This position requires exceptional organizational and detail skills, a problem-solving approach, and a firm grasp of the client relationship and their gain as the core of our own success.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Primary responsibilities include:
â€¢ Manage customer orders from receipt of PO through to customerâ€™s confirmed satisfaction, including entering orders, confirming shipping details, preparing orders for shipping and invoicing, organizing responses to customer concerns or complaints, and ensuring we have fulfilled the customerâ€™s needs.
â€¢ Manage customer expectations by clearly conveying pricing, inventory, lead time, and ship date information on each order.
â€¢ Advise quickly and clearly on out-of-stock materials and work with the sales and operations teams to explore workable alternatives.
â€¢ Identify client-specific inventory management opportunities such as contracts or floor stock agreements to help both Van Drunen Farms and customers efficiently manage supply chain.
â€¢ Manage client documentation requests by fulfilling requests or forwarding requests to appropriate Van Drunen Farms staff.
â€¢ Support the sales team, as needed, with client communications, quotes, and sample request fulfillment.
