Description

Program Management
Design, develop, evaluate and oversee Open Circle's programs.
Research, evaluate and author curricula and program materials.
Research and author articles for newsletters and other publications.
Contribute to discussions and decisions about Open Circle's leadership.
Program Delivery
Provide training and coaching to participants in Open Circle programs (NOTE: training schedule is very busy during the summer months).
Grade papers for students receiving graduate credit in conjunction with Open Circle training programs.
Frequent travel within Massachusetts and periodic travel out of state.

Requirements


At least 3 years of experience providing training and coaching
Demonstrated success in researching, designing and evaluating curricula and professional development programs
Demonstrated experience in effective program management and leadership
Experience working in schools
Experience and proficiency working in culturally and economically diverse communities
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with others
Excellent verbal, interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
Self-aware, reflective, and interested in ongoing social and emotional growth
Excellent writing skills, experience with a variety of writing forms (e.g. articles, curricula, book chapters, correspondence)
Ability to offer and receive constructive feedback; operate with a growth mindset (i.e. a desire to continually enhance one's skills)
Ability to problem-solve and to remain calm in stressful or unexpected situations
Organized, efficient, ability to handle multiple tasks and effective at time management
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint required
Experience with or desire to learn Adobe InDesign, Survey Monkey, and FileMaker or other database software preferred
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Ability to transport training materials
Bachelor's degree or 5-7 years equivalent experience; master's degree preferred
