Job Description:

Provide material availability analysis to support customers demand requirements. Provide & build feedback to PM & CFT along with impact to ECN and any fluctuations to schedules. Act as CFT lead for all material related issues by providing clear and crisp communications to internal and external team.  Serve as main contact person for all excess & obsolete material reporting and resolution. 

  • Analyze material for kits needed over the next 6 – 8 weeks

  • Plan and commit kits for all material needed for all Customer(s) assigned

  • Identify parts with GAP that do not achieve the target kit drop date

  • Mitigate and/or escalate to management problematic parts at risk of jeopardizing revenue

  • Manage the purchase of parts from Customer. Work with PM for GAP Alignment 

  • Provide customer with weekly excess approval request(s)

  • Close on approvals with customer within the same week. Follow workflow approval process to close the issue.

  • Monthly Excess Resolution Report via Spotlight report: zero demand or excess with demand  

  • Analyze, report, validate if changes are required 

  • Validate Commodity Buyers completed cancellation and return component material for your Customer account(s)

  • Coordinate Sales order entry for excess sale and BOM

  • Coordinate excess material shipment to Customer  

  • Coordinate with customer for PO changes due to deltas on final counts.

  • Monitor pull-in actions with buyers to ensure the gap has been resolved

  • Run What-If reports if needed to support the Customers pull-in/push-out requests

  • Perform ECO material impact analysis and disposition

  • Quarterly Material Mitigation Program: Perform a BOM profile analysis on a quarterly basis to review sole sourced parts, long lead-time, risk buys and obsolescence.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills is required

  • High emphasis on customer service satisfaction skills.

  • Must be detail oriented and possess high analytical, problem solving skills.

  • Excellent track record of sound decision making and follow through.

  •  Bachelors degree required , MBA a plus

  • 5-7 years experience in Materials

  • At least 3-5 years experience in Planning or Procurement

  • APIC’s or NAPM Certification a plus

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office required.  Must have above average skills with Excel for analytical

  • ERP/MRP experience a must, Manex and Spotlight a Plus
