Provides direct support in the maintenance and accuracy of various Accounting records. Responsibilities include data entry, scanning, customer sales tax administration, customer credit card processing and customer invoicing. Also included are receptionist relief, assisting the owners with routine administrative tasks, and other general office duties.
Sales tax administration, including, but not limited to, obtaining customer certificates, maintaining accurate records of certificates, updating sales tax rates and filing sales tax returns.
Timely and accurate processing of customer credit cards, including all supporting documentation.
Assist in processing and sending out of customer invoices.
Supplier compliance assistance, including mailings and other correspondence to obtain needed data.
Assist in processing discrepancy reports and reconciling supplier statements.
Assist in processing of payments, including mailing and scanning documents.
Scan and index documents into Document Imaging system.
Assist owners with routine administrative tasks.
Provide fill-in relief at the switchboard, including answering and transferring of incoming calls, greeting visitors, processing incoming and outgoing mail.
Share in responsibilities of mail pickup and mail delivery, as needed.
