We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager responsible for managing the area to meet sales objectives and targets;
Providing accurate and regular bookings forecasts for the territory;
Reporting activities to management on a weekly and monthly basis;
Supporting representative and customer inquiries; and qualifying prospective purchasers with respect to applications;
Working with internal personnel to expedite quotations, drawings, and shipments when needed;
Providing feedback on competitive activities, new market opportunities, and new product opportunities to management;
Assisting in defining new product;
Providing product and application training to representatives as needed;
Managing the resources provided (time, money, personnel) to produce maximum bookings from the territory;
Motivating representatives to achieve goals;
Additional duties as required.
Position Requirements: B.S. degree or equivalent in engineering, science, or marketing with analytical science or instrumentation, 10 plus industry experience with tubing and/or off shore shipments as needed. Should also have previous experience in inside sales support, direct field sales and/or representative sales.
Good written and verbal communication skills. Must have the ability to motivate and direct distributor personnel to achieve sales goals. Must be able to manage time and resources to achieve sales goals. Must have the capability of using a computer for word processing, spreadsheet operation, and database management. Must have the ability to work with other companies and to work with minimal supervision toward attainment of goals. Must be able to travel extensively.
