We are seeking applicants for a Director of Psychology Services – Nemours Autism Center. We are excited to announce the development of a new comprehensive Autism Center at the Nemours/A. I. duPont Hospital for Children. The Autism Center will provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment for children up to age 18 years. Clinical services will be interdisciplinary and collaborative with joint medical and psychology leadership. Growth will be staged over the next 3-5 years.
We are seeking a mid or senior career Psychologist with strong background in program development and ASD populations. The Director of Psychology Services will collaborate with the Medical Director in the development and implementation of integrated evaluation and treatment programs and will oversee other behavioral health providers in the center. We are particularly interested in individuals with focus and expertise in Autism treatment programs. As the Director will partner with Behavioral Health Training Directors in providing psychology training in ASD populations at the extern, intern, and fellowship level, prior leadership in psychology training programs is required. In addition, the Director will support the development of a sustainable, clinically oriented ASD research program and thus, a strong clinical research background evidenced by peer publications and external funding is desired.
Qualifications include a Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-approved clinical psychology program, a pre-doctoral Internship from an APA-approved site, and at least one year of postdoctoral experience in a medical setting. Training and experience with ASD populations including work with multidisciplinary healthcare teams is required. Applicants for the Director position should be a minimum of seven years post-licensure, with evidence of prior leadership experience in an academic medical setting.

The Autism Center will have newly space specifically developed for this program adjacent to the main hospital building and in the same physical space as the rest of Behavioral Health and Developmental Medicine. Academic appointment through Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University is strongly encouraged and supported.
