Nemours is seeking a Psychologist, Primary Care, Research to join our team in Wilmington, DE.

The ideal candidate is a psychologist with clinical experience in the pediatric primary care setting and a strong background in research to establish a primary care psychology research program at Nemours.  This psychologist will spend 50% time providing clinical services including consultation, evaluation and brief treatment services in one of our Northern DE primary care clinics. The remaining 50% time will be devoted to research in primary care psychology, with goals of mentoring other primary care research and establishing external funding within three years. This psychologist will have the opportunity for mentorship and collaboration with Dr. Kazak and research colleagues at Nemours Center for Healthcare Delivery Science at Nemours (duPont Hospital campus). ​

Qualifications include a Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-approved clinical psychology program, a pre-doctoral Internship from an APA-approved site, and at least one year of postdoctoral experience in a medical setting.

I. duPont Hospital for Children (Nemours.org) is a state-of-the-art facility and is located in a suburban setting, a half hour from Philadelphia.   The Autism Center will have newly space specifically developed for this program adjacent to the main hospital building and in the same physical space as the rest of Behavioral Health and Developmental Medicine.   Academic appointment through Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University is strongly encouraged and supported.
