Position Summary 
Oversees the Office of Contract Compliance team and Sales Accounting team to provide assurance of customer contract integrity, compliance with agreed upon terms and conditions, and accurate fulfillment of customer contracts.  Able to turn data into true insight and provide proactive direction to both field personnel and management pertaining to customer programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

  • Maintains process for establishing and maintaining customer contracts, which includes ensuring adherence to contract terms/conditions and providing training and support to field personnel

  • Analyzes overall contract performance and communicates results and trends to leadership team

  • Oversees processes related to contractual obligations, i.e. rebate payouts, discounts, fixturing, up-front supply agreements, consignment, etc.

  • Ensures accuracy of monthly accounting transactions related to rebate accruals, amortization of deferred floors, and unearned discount reserve

  • Participates in other ad hoc analysis projects as needed; provides appropriate analytical support required by functional leaders

  • Other duties may be assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervises employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance to the Company policies, the Code of Ethical Business Conduct and applicable laws.

Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.



Travel is not required.

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent from a college or university and 3 to 5 years related accounting/finance experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with an emphasis in accounting/finance.
Required Skills /Experience

  • Basic experience Microsoft Office

  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel

Preferred Skills /Experience

  • Basic experience with ERP or Accounting systems (e.g. JD Edwards)

  • Basic experience with reporting tools (e.g. Cognos)
