About this Position
We are actively seeking exceptional software engineers to integrate and deploy simulation tools that can be used to validate autonomous vehicle technology.
Responsibilities and Duties
Develop a software platform that uses game engine technology to simulate autonomous vehicles
Connect the platform to all components of an autonomous vehicle's software stack
Develop methods for simulating traffic, pedestrians, & other actors within a game engine world
Develop a framework for creating & scripting scenarios that test autonomous vehicle behavior
Deploy the platform in cloud environments to enable scalable vehicle development & validation
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other related technical field
4+ years of experience developing software in game engine environments
4+ years of experience with multiple development languages: C++, C#, & python
Nice to Haves (Preferred Qualifications)
Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other related technical field
Experience in releasing products from tier-1 gaming or movie studios
Experience with Unity or Unreal
Comfortable with TCP/IP, UDP, serialization, & other communication protocols
Experience working with data-intensive software development projects & repositories
Experience profiling and optimizing game engine software performance
