Process Automation Programming Analyst

Robotics Process Automation (RPA) is a revolutionary approach to automate repeatable rules-based process steps. We are looking for a Process Automation Analyst to join an agile RPA team.

The incumbent will leverage process-driven, analytical, technical and financial management skills to create and maintain automation (routines/programs) solutions. Solutions will include defining, designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining automations/robots, in a professional consultative project delivery environment.

This position reports to Process Automation Team Lead.

A Day in the Life

  • Execute robotic process automation utilizing top digital workforce platform, Automation Anywhere

  • Design and develop automated solutions and serve as technical resource on business driven automation initiatives

  • Participate in various types of interviews, meetings or workshops to design and configure automation solutions

  • Create & maintain automation solution documentation (requirements, development, UAT)

  • Support the Operational teams in testing activities, including integration testing, end-to-end (business process) testing and UAT

  • Problem-solve issues that arise in day-to-day running of automation processes and provide timely responses and solutions as required

  • Provide operational support for upgrades, defect fixes, and process change activities

  • Support IPA Leadership throughout the project lifecycle of automations and provide actionable inputs to mitigate where applicable

  • Provides constructive feedback to ensure quality of code

  • Supports QA & Audit activities as needed

    Must Haves

  • Bachelors Degree

  • Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in cross functional organization inluding project management, processes improvement, systems and/or applications

  • Experience in developing macros or automation tools

    Nice to Haves

  • Experience with systems development life cycle and structured programming methods (both traditional and agile), including requirements definition, solution design, program development, testing, documentation, training, deployment, operations, support and maintenance

  • Track record of meeting and/or exceeding established client, project and performance goals and the ability to work on projects successfully within established timelines and budgets

  • Ability to work independently, or in groups, as the lead participant; ability to work well with business analysts, programmers, vendors and end users in cross functional teams

  • Ability to take on complex assignments as the lead, and assume increasingly greater leadership roles/responsibilities

  • Experience in the area of continuous improvement (Lean / Six-Sigma)

  • An understanding of workflow based logic; ability to both understand a business process from a workflow diagram or procedural documentation

  • Ability to prioritize, schedule and complete development and testing required for multiple applications with overlapping schedules

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, articulate, speaks and writes English well

  • Knows how to prioritize requests effectively and efficiently and work with a sense of urgency with competing priorities
