Hill-Rom's comprehensive product and service offerings are used by health care providers across the health care continuum and around the world in hospitals, extended care facilities and home care settings to enhance the safety and quality of patient care.DescriptionUnder the direction of the VP North America Sales Operations and Administration, the Manager, Bids and Contract Administration will manage and oversee all aspects of Hill-Rom PSS Division's submission of Bid Responses and manage the administration of all Group Purchasing Organization (GPO), Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) and facility level contracts.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work independently with Field Sales, Marketing, Legal and other areas of Hill-Rom to ensure timely response and to all Bids & RFP's. Manages the flow of work within the department to prioritize projects and personnel.
Work closely with Marketing, QA/RA and various other departments to develop and draft responses for use in bids, letters and other forms of customer correspondence in order to achieve the ultimate goal of securing winning bids. Work closely with Legal to ensure all responses are acceptable and are incompliance with Hill-Rom's Contracting Guidelines.
Communicate & interact directly with Sourcing Managers, Directors of Supply Chain and other key customer contacts during bid process.
Obtain detailed knowledge of Hill-Rom and competitor product portfolios to ensure that correct products models, features and benefits are being positioned in the bid responses.
Establish and maintain centralized tracking of all bid responses in the Loopio Software Database.
Responsible for implementation of all PSS Division Group Purchasing Organization (GPO), Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) and facility level contracts, inclusive of Capital, Rental and Service Contracts. Implementation of contract to include coordinating with various departments pricing set up. administrative fee payment, rebate payments, payment terms and any other process and system requirements to insure compliance to the contract.
Manage process for generating price comparisons, price analysis, purchase history, and saving reports as requested by customers, field sales, finance, marketing, Directors of Strategic Accounts, and National Account Executives.
Facilitate Internal and External Audits as they pertain PSS Division Group Purchasing Organization (GPO), Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) and facility level contracts.
Coaching and guiding team to operational excellence and a culture of accountability.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage Bid/Contract Analysts, Membership Analyst, Pricing Administrator and Contract Implementation Specialist
Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree
* Understanding of the construction of Bid, RFP and contract documents
* Excellent oral and written communication skills and excellent personal organization skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Package, especially MS Word and Excel

* Master's Degree or MBA
* Experience in problem identification and problem solving
* The ability to establish priorities and to react when these priorities are altered
* 3 years supervisory experience
