Job DescriptionDesign Release Intern
The Design Engineer Internship will be based in Farmington Hills, Michigan. The Intern will Solve complex problems and generate new ideas for a global organization while utilizing creativity and innovation to develop entrepreneurial skills.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do…
- Involved on projects which matter to the business and help achieve company goals.
- Work on challenging projects in support of real-time business issues, to develop skills and experiences.
- Assist the team with the design and development and release of wiring harnesses for automotive.
- Systems review, 3D data review, mark-up 2D and coordinate and communicate with stakeholders.
- Support the hardware design for new products, develops, modifies and evaluates electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment, or other hardware systems and/or electrical engineering applications.
- Assist in the development to implement solutions on multiple designs and products.
- Assist and solve unforeseen problems in design development.
- Assist team with component selection, layout and design documentation.
- Collaborate closely with test group on production test fix.
- Designs, determines design approaches and parameters.
- Researches, prototypes and implements a project.
Here is some of what you’ll need (required)…
- Currently enrolled and pursuing degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited university
- Available for 10-12 weeks
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
