Department Functions:
National Facilities Services manages KP's real assets such as buildings and clinical equipment. Property Management is the liaison between KP and landlords when a facility is leased
Description of Intern Responsibilities:

Tenant/occupant handbook describing building policies and procedures (rules and regulations) and outlining available resources Once prepared as a written document, working with local KP web services to covert the document to a digital online document Develop and propose requirements for local intranet presence for the Property Mgmt group with a goal of increasing access to the team and improving operational efficiency. This work would culminate with a product developed by the local KP webmaster.
Essential Functions:
  • Contributing to a designated project or initiative to meet a KP business objective.
  • Report development and analytics.
  • Project management - planning, execution, and measurement.
  • Learning new applications needed to complete assignments or support the execution of business objectives.
  • Job shadowing in other functional areas.
  • Performing additional duties as required.

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree or have graduated from an accredited university within the last year.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
    License, Certification, Registration

    Additional Requirements:
  • Aptitude to perform data and process analytics and formulating solutions
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

    Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3.0 GPA or above.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to build effective working relationships as well as strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and experience producing high quality work in short periods of time.
    Creative, customer/service focused, strong writing and critical thinking skills, strong computer skills. Knowledge of Access would be a big plus
