Position Title: Assistant Branch Manager - Regency

Reports To: Varies Based on Assignment
This position is primarily responsible for assisting the Manager of Branch - Regency as a trainee for the day to day management of the branch location by meeting with customers and processing loan applications, evaluating the applicant's credit status and credit worthiness, approving or denying loan applications within limits established, assessing the customer's needs and determining which Regency products fit the needs of the customer and advising the customer on the advantage and disadvantages of products.
Performs delinquency control by means of telephone and face to face collection in addition to communication through collection letters. Makes personal visits as directed by the Manager of Branch for collection purposes. Performs P&L collection.
Meets with customers to determine their loan requirements, evaluates their needs and makes specific suggestions on which loan products best fit their needs.
Processes loan applications and makes a determination of applicant creditworthiness by verifying application information and consulting credit reports. Makes recommendations to the Assistant Branch Manager or to the Manager of Branch with the authority to approve the loan. Solicits customers for the best possible loan available.
Operates a cash drawer as needed and assigned by the Manager of Branch. Learns all aspects of all jobs in the branch and trains to become a Assistant Branch Manager and or a Manager of Branch.
Retains licensing applicable by compliance and regulations to sell specific types of insurance as required by certain states.
Learns the basics of recordkeeping procedures to include bankruptcy logs, repossession logs and others as assigned by the Manager of Branch. Learns and executes the company's investment program.
Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.

High School or GED
Minimum Years Experience:
Ability to work and multi-task in a fast paced environment
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
Ability to use general office equipment
Ability to use a personal computer and job-related software
MS Word - Basic Level
MS Excel - Intermediate Level
MS PowerPoint - Basic Level
Associates Degree preferred. Ability to relocate. Ability to work with on-line operation system. Ability to effectively promote and sell services and products.
