The Office of Ocean Exploration and Research (OER), located administratively within the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of Oceanic and Atmospheric Research, is responsible for coordinating interdisciplinary ocean exploration expeditions and projects to search, investigate, and document unknown and poorly known areas of the ocean in order to advance and disseminate knowledge of the ocean environment and its physical, chemical, biological, and historical resources. The office is based at NOAA Headquarters in Silver Spring, MD with satellite offices across the US.

We are looking for a Scientist IV to support the mission of NOAA OER.
