Information Technology (IT) Procurement is a centralized group within Prudential’s Global Business and Technology Solutions’ group responsible for the management and oversight of IT contract negotiations, IT procurement, IT consultant requisitions and contracting, invoice reconciliation, and IT RFP process and distribution. The group manages Enterprise-wide contracts across technology commodities.

Position Summary : The IT Procurement Team is seeking a highly motivated professional with contracting skills to work in a customer service, fast passed environment in support of negotiating contracts  for IT contingent labor and IT service agreements.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Negotiating IT Contracts including, but not limited to, Master Agreements, Engagement Schedules and Statements of Work.

• Managing all stages of the contract labor acquisition process for the hiring managers including: creating the IT job description, posting requirements, reviewing and screening of candidates and scheduling and coordinating interviews

• Manage and oversee performance of participating staffing vendors which includes metrics reports, gathering business group feedback and conducting vendor review meetings

• Complete and ensure all necessary paperwork related to services is executed prior to an assignment beginning

• Assist hiring managers with extension of contract assignments

• Negotiate with vendors and provide pricing advice to the various lines of business

• Interact with internal client, staffing vendors, contract personnel and other partners

• Review and negotiate contracts with project managers and vendors to ensure that terms and conditions are acceptable to Prudential and that business terms are outlined clearly and then work with the law department though completion

• Work closely with the legal department on new contracts for business groups, contract extensions/amendments or any ad hoc issues that arise

• Research industry trends and key market information in order to look for ways to improve our process and provide continued quality service

• Strong organization skills and attention to detail

• Knowledge of MS office and PC skills

• Recruiting experience in IT a plus

• College degree
