ENSCO, Inc., a diverse engineering, science, and advanced technology company seeks a highly motivated individual to join our team. The position reports to the Division Director, directly support the Division VP as well as provides administrative support to/for 120+ employees. The candidate will be responsible for providing administrative assistance and support for the Applied Technology and Engineering (ATE) and Rail Division. The ATE/Rail division has both federal and commercial contracts. This position entails critical support in the following areas: word processing, data input, spreadsheet development & manipulation, filing, copying, answering phones/directing calls, making travel arrangements/processing travel expense vouchers, maintaining office supplies, and assisting in preparing for meetings (i.e., note taking, setting action items, and arranging for business/training lunches.) Responsibilities will also include assisting in preparation of packages for domestic and international shipping, assisting in proposal preparation, and other associated duties as assigned and/or necessary. The successful applicant will have a strong organizational background in office management with great organization skills. He/she should have great inter-personal skills, experience with finances and/or accounting, project coordination, as well as writing.
Qualifications Required (Skills)
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or equivalent education experience combination.
Relevant experience in office administration.
Experience with Excel including the creation and maintenance of financial tracking worksheets and database creation, maintenance and input.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel, Word, Access, Outlook and PowerPoint).
Experience in the preparation and processing of electronic requisitions and purchase orders for supplies, services, and equipment including the use of and reconciliation of corporate credit cards and petty Cash.
Must be detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the capability to manage multiple priorities and actions at the same time.
Must possess excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
