HGTV MAGAZINE is looking for an Account Director to join their team.
Key Responsibilities Exceed revenue goals and increase share of market for list and within assigned territory
Exceed revenue goals and increase share of market for list and within assigned territory
Work collaboratively to develop innovative solutions for clients trying to break through the clutter and reach consumers in a new way.
Target minimum of 8 outside sales calls weekly and travel within the assigned territory, building strong relationships with agency and clients at all levels
Work with Scripps counterparts to ideate and sell through large convergent programs with TV and Digital
Work with marketing to develop creative concepts for high impact programs
Prepare for sales calls and follow up thoroughly and creatively
Provide accurate and timely business estimates, forecasts, paperwork and other deliverables as required by management
Requirements/Skills/Experience Minimum 7+ years selling advertising at a national consumer magazine

Understanding of new technology and convergent approach
Strong interpersonal skills – must be able to build relationships effectively and at all levels with clients, Scripps and within the organization
