Texas American Title in Houston, TX, a wholly owned subsidiary of Title Resource Group (TRG) is seeking a Title Examiner - Commercial/Acreage. TRG is a full-service title, settlement, underwriting and vendor management services company serving real estate companies, affinity groups, corporations and financial institutions in support of residential and commercial real estate transactions.
The Title Examiner - Commercial/Acreage is responsible for:
Generating title commitments using the public records and following underwriter guidelines
Identifying and researching the ownership records of real estate properties
Reviewing surveys of property to determine if there are any issues affecting insurability
Pulling and assembling data that affects a certain piece of property

A High School diploma or equivalent is required
Three to five years of title examination (metes and bounds minimum) experience is required.
General understanding of real estate transactions and title/escrow industry
Experience with Title Data preferred
Microsoft Suite proficient
