Successful candidate will be proficient in mechanical knowledge dealing with diesel engines, regeneration on diesel engines and basic diesel injection. Hydraulic knowledge dealing with spool valves, cartridge valves, pumps and hydraulic cylinders, including rebuilding them and pneumatic knowledge dealing with air compressors and air supply on diesel engines along with troubleshooting skills as it pertains to forklifts and heavy equipment. Quality, safety, and production will be needed to be challenged by analyzing and fostering a Continuous Improvement Program.

Successful candidate will maintain and improve the PM program with maintenance and operation. Maintain fleet of rolling stock for plant site, conduct PMs on equipment and maintain documentation relating to daily maintenance. Must be a proactive part of improving plant safety and in communicating safety issues and behaviors. Provide clear written and oral communication. Work through process of project justification, risk management, goal setting, cause and effect/troubleshooting with employee involvement, evaluation progress, completion, and follow up.


Industrial Vehicle mechanic, with minimum 5 years' experience in maintenance and repair of Fork Trucks, Boom Lifts, scissors lifts and other industrial material handling vehicles (Gas, LP, Diesel, and Electrical powered). Evidence of training and certifications a Plus! Strong mechanical/electrical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot and keep PM program operating. Must possess hydraulics experience and troubleshooting skills and pneumatic experience. Strong welding and fabrication experience also desired. Must possess basic computer knowledge of Work and Excel is desirable.
