Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Strategic Initiatives Manager in PRT Client Services.  This role will be responsible for generating, developing, and implementing innovative process improvement solutions across the PRT Client Services organization to build and enhance more scalable processes to serve a growing market.  Reporting to the VP, PRT Client Services, the role will support both pension risk transfer and longevity risk transfer products as well as support the development of new innovative products designed to solve customer needs. 
 Primary responsibilities include:


  • Leader of people responsibilities for individual contributors responsible for successful implementation of strategic initiatives including maintaining and improving employee engagement and advancing talent development

  • Analyze and assess current processes to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement

  • Proactively draft, develop, and implement process improvements across the business system

  • Prioritize initiatives in collaboration with business partners across the organization

  • Develop, lead, manage, and execute on projects and initiatives across the business system to solve complex business issues through process, systems, and infrastructure improvements

  • Develop and deliver metric reporting on in initiative status, efficiencies gained, and costs incurred

  • Manage multiple priorities and provide subject matter expertise to technology, non-technology, and robotics projects

  • Accelerate fulfillment of non-technology projects through leadership and execution

  • Support the System Development Life Cycle through: development of business cases, review and approval of business cases, and perform as subject matter expert in requirements drafting and testing support

  • Responsible for implementation and roll-out of process changes including: appropriately documenting process and procedures, communicating changes to stakeholders, and providing training

  • Provide oversight for Client Services End User Computing inventory

Qualifications:


  • 5 + years of Pension Risk Transfer, Defined Benefit, Retirement Industry and / or Financial Services experience preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field is preferred

  • Ability to independently lead projects meeting or exceeding established deliverable dates

  • Strong knowledge of PRT products, services, processes, and administrative systems

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence others

  • Proven track record of continuously striving to improve operational efficiency

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing, and challenging environment

  • Possess strong collaboration skills to partner across the organization on business initiatives

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing projects and deliverables
