Job Summary
Position requires a team player with experience of various processes, operations, and machines. Production Operator-Senior must have the ability to perform various tasks such as: Felting, molding, sanding/deflashing, operation of lathe and trim machines, dipping, acetoning, and packing. Experience and good skills are required to fill in this position, as well as a positive attitude and willingness to succeed.
Primary Responsibilities

* Operates felting, molding, sanding, deflashing, lathes, trim machines, and pad printer, as well as performing, acetoning, dipping, packing as each task requires

* Must be able to identify components by batch number and acceptable workmanship

* Able to make adjustments, and replace cutting tools as needed

* Will disassemble/clean clich for pad printers

* Will apply SPC tools, perform problem solving, and do corrective action

* Follows MSPIs, MSDS, safety and environmental procedures

* Must possess good hand and eye coordination/manual dexterity

* Good visual inspection, and usage of measurement tools

* Will lift approximately 45 Lbs.

* Operator will be requested to transfer to other programs as business needs arise

* Must be able to identify mechanical malfunctions and take corrective action

* Maintain the highest ethical standards, even when challenged from above

* Understand and live by Esterline s ethics and business conduct policies

Qualifications

* Must have a high school diploma or equivalent

* Position requires general experience and machine operations

* Ability to comprehend written MSPI instructions in English

* Must have basic math skills

* Must perform SPC applications

* Must have the ability to read/set-up measurement tools

* Must be dependable, responsible, and accurate and have the ability to deal with people effectively.
