Location: Bloomington, Indiana
Provides administrative assistance to the football coaching and support staff members in support of the daily operation of the football program and documents associated with football practice, game preparation, and clinics; and creates and utilizes forms, graphics, and spreadsheets.
Oversees production and formatting of football manuals and proofreads for grammar and spelling; drafts speeches and prepares reports, correspondence, and other written material; and oversees coordination of travel arrangements for all personnel and processes all travel and reimbursement documents. Produces PowerPoint presentations; and maintains calendars and schedules, oversees inventory of office supplies, and works extensively with team and recruit databases.
NOTE: Position requires incumbent to comply fully with all NCAA, Big Ten (or other conference) and Indiana University rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
REQUIRED: High school diploma or GED and three years office experience.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer service orientation. Ability to effectively communicate and exchange information with a wide variety of individuals. Strong organizational and multitasking skills including ability to prioritize work, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines under pressure. Demonstrated maturity, confidence and reliability including an excellent attendance record and ability to work independently. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and ability to learn other in-house systems as needed.Preferred Qualifications
