Position Summary

You will be a key contributor to the overall success of Constellation’s Wine & Spirits Procurement team’s strategic roadmap. As the Sr. Analyst, you will work with the Procurement Manager and liaise with cross-functional teams to help deliver cost-based decisions that align with our corporate strategy. In this role, you will also be expected to develop insights from Category team’s data and manage the data quality and hierarchy of data sets. You will be tasked to collect and analyze spend data and provide visibility into total spend activities across categories, locations, brands and suppliers. You will be comfortable with ambiguity and adept working with marketing, operations and finance while utilizing multiple tools and systems to complete projects. You will lead complex analytics initiatives to provide quantitative support for savings opportunities, by tracking and interpreting spend data across Constellation Brands Wine and Spirits’ addressable spend.

This position reports to the Procurement Manager and will be based in San Francisco, CA.

Responsibilities


  • Lead the New Product Development (NPD) process for a set of brands and facilitate clear and concise information sharing with the Procurement and Packaging Technology team to execute projects

  • Identify scope and challenges of NPD projects to cascade pertinent information to Procurement in a timely manner

  • Develop a set of handoff templates and streamline the NPD commercialization process

  • Track NPD metrics and partner with Procurement Manager to surface key data points to streamline decision making

  • Effectively analyze spend and sales data, proactively identify trends to inform packaging decisions, and help achieve planned savings on categories

  • Leverage data to drive decision making on key cost drivers for the Wine & Spirits Business Unit – analyze large quantities of data and synthesize it into easily understood dashboards with key insights to enable impactful solutions to complex challenges

  • Enable decision making by providing data to support procurement leadership requests

  • Create models and evaluate business scenarios that will accurately reflect financial impact (e.g. Cost Savings, Cost Avoidance, ROI etc.)

  • Build & maintain strong, positive partnerships with Procurement, Finance and Marketing Teams to drive data driven decision making

  • Actively participate in cross-functional teams to support the Design to Value projects

  • Identify and provide recommendations for process and system enhancements to refine the NPD Procurement roadmap

Minimum Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • At least four years of experience in a business-related field

  • Strong model building capabilities

  • Experienced with presenting insights from data

  • Exceptional in all MS applications, especially Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills

  • Results and action oriented

  • Problem solver, independent but also a team player

Preferred Qualifications


  • Master’s Degree

  • 5-10 years in Finance, Procurement, Engineering, Innovation or a similarly related field

  • Experience in the CPG Industry

  • Strategy consulting experience

  • Project management experience

  • Familiarity with MRP, JD Edwards, Oracle, SAP or any ERP system

  • Familiarity with Access and Project or any project planning system
