Position Summary

Sr. Analyst - Marketing Analytics is responsible for supporting the analytics agenda for brands like Corona, Modelo, and Pacifico within the Beer Consumer Insights & Analytics department.  The Sr. Analyst will deliver business recommendations via advanced analytic models and tools across depletions, scanner, and panel data as well as custom analytics like Marketing Mix and Drivers & Drags.  These efforts will result in actionable insights that will continue propelling Constellation’s iconic beer brands to outperform the industry.


  • Identify and articulate business issues and opportunities for the brand management teams; guide analytic priorities, in collaboration with key stakeholders

  • Contribute to the development of annual research plans that will guide brands’ strategic priorities; design and execute projects including:

    • Business Measurement via syndicated and custom data sets, contribution to “deep dives” into market and competitive performance

    • Quantification of marketing effectiveness and efficiency via Marketing Mix and return on marketing objectives including optimization of media plans and penetration measurement

    • New Product qualification and quantification including opportunity sizing, control vs test measurement and consumer analytics around trial and repeat, and sourcing of volume

  • Work with Consumer Insights and Analytics teammates to instill that each project undertaken has a “What, So What, and Now What” implication to make the analysis actionable for the marketing teams

  • Support efforts to build best practices within Consumer Insights & Analytics.  Partner across the entire Growth team to drive change and contribute to the building of a best-in-class function

  • Monitor trends in the category (including brands, packtypes, and key channels) to identify key opportunities for Corona, Modelo, or Pacifico

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 or more years of experience in an analytical position, preferably in the Alcohol Industry or Consumer Packaged Goods

  • Strong understanding of syndicated data with ability to perform complex quantitative analysis of scanner, panel, and depletions data

  • Expertise in translating results from advanced analytic modeling and analyses into insights and actionable recommendations

  • Experience designing persuasive and concise learning for multiple constituents internally (brand partners, other functions) and externally (retailers, distributor partners, etc.)

  • A passion for the consumer and brand building

  • High degree of critical thinking and flexibility

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools

  • Passionate for driving insights and applying to the fast-moving alcohol industry

Physical Requirements/Work Environment
