  • Completion of five or six-year architectural degree program

  • Licensed architect with a minimum of 10 years progressively responsible professional experience; experience required in all phases of project work including preparation of conceptual, schematic, design, development, and construction documents and supporting materials with a focus on the technical design aspects of project delivery

  • Significant experience leading large complex projects in Asia, Southeast Asia and Pacific Region

  • Expected to travel internationally on a regular basis

  • Demonstrates advanced knowledge of architectural practice;  experience in leading teams in the completion of architectural projects; demonstrates advanced knowledge of building materials, detailing, constructions techniques, building systems selection, related engineering principles, sustainability strategies, construction cost structures and building codes and demonstrates practical knowledge of space programming and functional adjacencies, site planning, civil, structural, mechanicals, electrical, security engineering, etc.


  • Plans, schedules, organizes, coordinates and executes the technical design aspects of projects, with limited oversight from an Associate Director, Director or Partner

  • Coordinates entire architectural design concept incorporating planning, engineering, interiors and all other required systems in collaboration with Senior Designer and Project Designer

  • Provides technical design input and support for the development of the entire design concept for the assigned work under an Associate Director, Director or Partner

  • Responsible for a project’s technical design effort, subsequent detailed design development, project coordination and quality control efforts during all phases of project work in collaboration with a Senior Designer and Project Manager

  • Develops thorough understanding of design philosophy of projects, provides major input in developing a design and building performance strategy and can effectively convey this to assigned team members when appropriate

  • Participates in the planning, scheduling, and organization of project plans relative to technical design efforts and processes in collaboration with senior project team;

  • Participates in marketing and business developments

  • Develops leadership presence office wide as a resource for technical design efforts
