As a UX/UI Designer in our San Jose, CA office, you will work closely with our clients to develop well-informed digital experiences for patients, providers and pharma brand managers. You will drive the discovery and validation of user pain points, create artifacts that communicate the user experience and design elements of digital health solutions, including apps, and wearables. You will be a consultative partner with excellent business and design competence to help inform, influence and establish a successful path forward. You will make decisions and recommendations backed by data, evidence and good judgement. You will manage multiple clients, operate with tight deadlines, and have the awareness to reset priorities as needed. You are naturally accountable and responsible. Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:
Develop a deep understanding of our customers' needs and pain-points
Design the end-to-end customer experience with interaction models that remove complexity and add delight
Identify unmet customer needs and develop ideas for new and enhanced features
Deliver key design artifacts such as style guides, storyboards, user flows, wireframes, prototypes and visuals
Possess a critical eye that looks to balance design aesthetics with intuitive functionality
Develop rapid paper or clickable prototypes for web and mobile concepts
Apply testing methodologies to test concepts with users to understand and enhance your designs
Communicate your planned approach. Share your insights, ideas, and opinions with your stakeholders and team using data and customer insights
Be an internal thought-leader on user experience best practices, usability standard and trends
Advocate for our customers by stressing the importance of delivering a world-class user experience design
Communicate design intent to internal and external teams with clear rationale for design strategies
Here is some of what you’ll need (required):
3+ years’ experience in User Interaction & Visual Design.
2+ years’ experience with motion design and animation.
BA/BS degree in Design (e.g., interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), or equivalent practical experience required.
Strong portfolio that demonstrates how your solutions have led to or improved real-world digital experiences
Possess thoughtful design processes that drives collaboration and validate new ideas with data and user insights
Exceptional communication skills, with a tailored approach to suit the audiences
Experience working with cross-functional teams and large-scale software development cycles
Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Zeplin, InVision and other emerging design applications
Experience designing for multiple display types (desktop, tablet, phone, etc.)

User research experience is a plus
Experience with UX writing, design languages, branding, materials
