This position involves managing the production, legal, business and financial aspects of Digital, Broadcast, and Print Production for our Clients, including production and talent budgeting and contracting, budget administration, licensing of third-party materials, and scoping and managing of legal issues (including interpretation of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) commercial contract as it relates to specific interactive productions).

Essential Functions:

  • Assist production in creating digital content estimates

  • Review and counsel on Statements of Work for content production

  • Handle talent contracting for all areas of production
    Interpret SAG contract provisions and prepare SAG estimates

  • Prepare talent contracts, including standard SAG, over-scale, and non-union talent agreements

  • Review creative for potential legal issues, including clearances and licensing of third-party print and social media materials

  • Work closely with legal counsel in resolving potential production liabilities and creating solutions for agency and clients

  • Handle third-party clearances and licensing (including music, stock images, software, etc.) necessary for production

  • Approve and facilitate invoice approvals and payment

  • Assist producers and project managers in closing out jobs for final billing

  • Generate vendor production agreements in all areas of content production

  • Liaise between Production and Legal to address any specific legal/liability issues arising from a particular production

  • Track and maintain meticulous records for all third party material licenses

  • Facilitate brand partnerships between clients and third parties.


  • Must have knowledge of performance unions and talent hiring both in the US and abroad

  • Strong negotiating skills necessary

  • Basic understanding of legal contract provisions

  • Experience working in PR, Earned Media, Integrated and Influencer Marketing a plus

  • Should feel comfortable in a fast-past environment while managing urgent deadlines, organizing and reporting a variety of production details

  • BA/BS degree from a four-year college and/or 7+ years of related work experience in an agency business affairs environment
